Cutwaste.org offers three ways for citizens to report government abuse: anonymously, publicly and by video example.
Anonymous reporting offers a way for whistleblowers who might fear retaliation -- such as current government employees -- to report wasteful spending. To anonymously report local, state or federal waste without your identity being known, simply send an email to whistleblower@cutwaste.org from an email address that does not include your name (we recommend yahoo.com or gmail.com if you need to set up an email specifically for this purpose). Remember we cannot contact anyone who makes an anonymous report, so it is important that you include as much information as possible with your email, such as photos, documents, emails, etc. If you would prefer to communicate anonymously by mail, just send information to PO Box 489, Oakwood, GA 30566.
If you have an idea that will save the government money and you don’t mind being contacted for more information, please make a public report. To do this, simply send your money saving idea to savefunds@cutwaste.org and make sure that you include information explaining what your idea is and where you can be contacted.
Finally, if you’d like to submit a video of actual government waste, we will consider posting it on cutwaste.org for others to view and using it in our ad campaign. If you do have video examples of government waste, please send them to video@cutwaste.org.
